Hey! What’s up Folks? Look, we are here with a surprise for you. Windows 10 as a new addition in Windows-family has been released and you must be very keen to use it now but the problem is that you cannot download it through ‘Windows Update’ now. So we have figured out something special for you. Sit back, relax!
The new Windows 10 is the most ambitious release for Microsoft now. They’ve gone too far with their mind-blowing tech ideas and they’re really going to surprise you with the interface and features of this new OS.
So, don’t worry if you missed to upgrade it through Windows Update. We have figured out that you can download Windows 10 Pro ISO officially and legally, surprisingly without product key. Happy? Microsoft already knew about the late comers indeed! Haha!
So as aforementioned, the ISO image file doesn’t requires any product key and so anyone with an internet connection can download it from Microsoft officially. But keep in mind that during the activation of the windows or after installation, the genuine Windows product key will be required. So in order to make sure you enjoy the new OS without any interruption, Microsoft has prepared a check-list of requirements before downloading it. Below are some points:
- An active and reliable Internet Connection is required to avoid any interruptions during the download.
- There should be enough space on the computer to download Windows 10 ISO.
- A blank USB storage device or a DVD with at least 4 GB of free space is required. You’ll be needing a DVD burner if you choose to write the ISO image on your DVD.
- Make sure your PC meets all the Windows 10 requirements.
- As aforementioned, for a clean install, you’ll be needing a genuine Windows product key.
So now if you think that you meet all the criteria mentioned above, then you should be ready and prepared to get your hands on the new Windows 10.
Follow the steps below to download Windows 10:
Step 1: First of all, go to the Microsoft Windows 10 software download page.
Step 2: So now you are on the downloads page, you have a choice to whether upgrade your PC or create a USB, DVD or ISO file.
Note: If you’re on an Enterprise edition, the media creation tool and the Upgrade now button above won’t work for an upgrade.
Update: The Upgrade Now option is no more available on the download page!
Step 3: So now we need a Windows 10 ISO file and Microsoft have prepared a media tool for us that’ll allow us to create USB, DVD or ISO. Let’s download it from the page. (Look at the screenshot below)
Step 4: Now if you’ve downloaded the media tool, open it and you’ll be having a small window on the screen with the title “Windows 10 Setup”. First you’ll need to read the License Terms and agree to that in order to proceed.
Step 5: Now it’ll ask you “What do you want to do?”. So, we’ll be choosing the second option as in the screenshot below to download the ISO or create a USB.
Step 6: After choosing that option, it’ll now ask you to select language, architecture and edition. If you want to choose the recommended settings than check the last option in the end (as you can see in the screenshot below) or uncheck it to choose your desired settings and click NEXT.
Step 7: Now it’ll ask you choose which media you want to use. Whether you want to create a USB or download the ISO file that you’ll have to burn later into the DVD.
If you’ll choose to create the USB drive, make sure it has more than 3 GB of free space. Everything is done now! You’re all set to get your hands on the new Windows 10. Enjoy it! 🙂
Share your experience with us. We’d love to hear your opinion about this new Windows 10 edition.
Stay tuned for more! 😉
